PopUp Shop and Solar Dye With Us at Mass Ave Knits
Come learn a little bit about natural dyeing as you prep your own 100gm skein of DK or fingering weight merino/cashmere/nylon yarn. You’ll choose a dye material, learn about techniques, and then make your own! You’ll take home your own jar all ready to make a custom naturally dyed skein with just the power of the sun!
There are two class times—noon or 2pm so sign up for the specific time you prefer.

Join us for a pop-up shop (3-8P) and sign up online for our Hand Painting with Natural Dyes class that we will do from 5:30-7:30p outside as part of the Franklin First Fridays events! In the class you’ll learn a little bit about natural dyeing and get to explore your creative side as you hand-paint your own custom 100g skein of fingering weight merino/cashmere/nylon yarn.

Pop-up and Gradient Class at Evanston Stitchworks
Come visit Michelle at Evanston Stitchworks as part of the Chicago Yarn Crawl. Michelle will be teaching a workshop on gradients with natural dyes, and she will be bringing naturally dyed yarn, embroidery floss, and even some spinning fiber!

Come visit us at Always in Stitches in Noblesville, IN. They invited us to participate as part of the Heartland Yarn Adventure weekend, and Linda will be bringing lots of naturally dyed yarn, embroidery floss, and even some spinning fiber!

Hand paint Suri alpaca yarn with us at Heritage Farm!
Create your own skein (or two) of luxurious Suri alpaca yarn with natural dyes. Learn about natural dyeing while painting them on yarn to make a truly unique work of art, share a meal with other makers, and visit the alpacas who grew your yarn. Cost includes instruction, 1 skein of suri alpaca yarn, dye materials, light lunch, and a tour/visit with alpacas. A second skein of yarn can be purchased for an additional $25. Pattern ideas for 1 or 2 skein projects will also be provided. Space is limited. Reserve your spot today!

Dye a Shawl with Us at Mass Ave
A 2-hour workshop geared for knitters and crocheters who want to learn a little about natural dyes and have a fun experience creating their own hand-painted yarn. We will be dyeing a set of miniskeins, with a focus on creating coordinating colors to make a shawlette, such as the free pattern for It’s a Spring Fling by Darn Knit Anyway.
Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival
We will be vendors at the 2024 Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival. There will be lots of fiber fun, and parking and admission are free! Come join us there!

Indy Fiber 100
Join us for this Indy 500 themed mini fiber festival at the Meeting House in the Village of West Clay! Sponsored by A Yarn Market and RoseGold Yarns, we will join other fiber-themed vendors and even some sheep (!). We will have our new Back Home Again locally-sourced Alpaca yarn line, Indy Car themed mini sets, and much more!

New this year is Christiana’s watercolor botanical stationery and hand knitted hats, mitts and accessories from Maddie and Sarah!
