Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival
So excited to be returning to Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival. Two days of fiber fun!
Pop Up Shop and Natural Dye Class at the Woolly Buffalo
Our first trunk show at the Woolly Buffalo in Plymouth, IN is coming up — July 19!
We will also be teaching a workshop geared for knitters and crocheters who want to learn a little about natural dyes and have a fun experience creating their own hand-painted yarn. We will be dyeing a set of mini skeins, which are great for socks, shawlettes, cowls, hats, mitts — or pair them with other yarn for larger projects.

Let's Dye Mini Skeins at The Knitting Otter
A 2-hour workshop geared for knitters and crocheters who want to learn a little about natural dyes and have a fun experience creating their own hand-painted yarn. Look who will be in the studio from 1-4 on February 16th! Rob of Close Knit Fibers will be bringing his beautiful yarns for a northside trunk show. Come visit Rob and hang out with Maddie and Sarah for an afternooon of FIBRuary yarn fun.

FIBRuary is Coming!!
FIBRuary Indy is a month-long celebration for fiber lovers, starting with FIBRuary Fest (February 1, 2025, from 10-4 at Forest Park Inn in Noblesville, IN). This festival will have local/regional craft vendors that support people who love making and using yarn — hand-dyed yarn, fiber, ceramics, tools, bags, etc. This kick-off event will also feature demonstrations, yarn doctors to help with your projects, and warm treats – all in a beautiful park setting.
This event is followed by a 2-week yarn crawl with participating yarn stores within an hour’s drive of Indianapolis. Visit your favorite LYS and try some new ones. Bring your yarn passport for extra savings and be entered into drawing for prizes.
Throughout the month we will host gatherings in central Indiana to share the love of yarn and making with each other.

PopUp Shop and Solar Dye With Us at Mass Ave Knits
Come learn a little bit about natural dyeing as you prep your own 100gm skein of DK or fingering weight merino/cashmere/nylon yarn. You’ll choose a dye material, learn about techniques, and then make your own! You’ll take home your own jar all ready to make a custom naturally dyed skein with just the power of the sun!
There are two class times—noon or 2pm so sign up for the specific time you prefer.
PopUp Shop and Hand Painting with Natural Dyes at The Knitting Otter
Join us for a pop-up shop (3-8P) and sign up online for our Hand Painting with Natural Dyes class that we will do from 5:30-7:30p outside as part of the Franklin First Fridays events! In the class you’ll learn a little bit about natural dyeing and get to explore your creative side as you hand-paint your own custom 100g skein of fingering weight merino/cashmere/nylon yarn.

Pop-up and Gradient Class at Evanston Stitchworks
Come visit Michelle at Evanston Stitchworks as part of the Chicago Yarn Crawl. Michelle will be teaching a workshop on gradients with natural dyes, and she will be bringing naturally dyed yarn, embroidery floss, and even some spinning fiber!
