The fiber is an 80/20 blend of Cormo wool from sheep raised by the Westfield Woolies in Westfield, IN, and Suri Alpaca raised by Heritage Farm Alpacas in Flora, IN.
The pattern was designed by Stephanie of Rosie Posie Knit Co., specifically for our Back Home Again Cormo/Alpaca Blended Yarn.
We naturally dye all of our yarns at our studio in Fishers, IN, including this new Cormo/Alpaca blend that is next-to-skin soft and has the bounce you need for a great hat that keeps its shape.
This would make a very special gift for a knitter that loves sustainable, natural, local products or for someone who loves covered bridges!
