Summer by the Lake is our most seasonal palette as the primary ingredient is fresh indigo harvested from our garden - and is only available in the summer. Each set has 2 blues, two greens and a yellow. Exact colors may vary from each harvest and dye session.
This summer, we made sets on three different bases:
MCN Mini Skeins — like our other mini sets, these are made with 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon, high-twist sock weight yarn. Perfect for color work! These are high twist and are great for socks, shawls, baby blankets (and other things). 5 minis, 80yds/20g each (400 yds, 100g total)
Silken Wool Nature’s Stitches - Thread made from a blend of Blue-Faced Leiceister and silk (55%/45%). These 2 ply strands are designed to be used whole (26 yards each). Great for all kinds of stitching, including embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint, visible mending, etc.
Pure Merino Minis - Smaller version of our Pure Merino fingering weight yarn. Pure Merino is our regionally sourced, locally-spun yarn made from 100% superfine untreated (No superwash) US merino wool. Together, the set of 5 is approximately 412 yds/100g.
